Free Asbestos & Mesothelioma Awareness Wristbands
When a patient is diagnosed with mesothelioma, family and friends may not be sure how to support their loved one. Because of its rarity, mesothelioma can make a patient feel isolated or alone. While there are many opportunities to help care for and comfort their friend, sometimes a touching gesture is simple one of solidarity.
The Mesothelioma Center offers free mesothelioma and asbestos awareness wristbands to patients and their families and friends. These bands can help wearers feel more connected while spreading awareness about the cancer. Patients and their loved ones can wear a wristband as a reminder of the ongoing fight for a cure.
"Kaylen (Jackson, a Mesothelioma Center Patient Advocate) sent me those blue wristbands that say 'asbestos awareness' for me and my close family members. My dad even wore one. I still wear mine every day," explained Christine Nelson, who requested the bands in honor of her father, who was battling mesothelioma.
To request these asbestos awareness wristbands, fill out the form below. Please limit requests to four to ensure that all mesothelioma patients and their families have access to the support bands.
